X-Ray Analysis

Our CR Technologies CRX 2000 X-ray machine provides exceptional process development and diagnostic services to customers. The system features an x-y-z sample manipulation area (18" x 24" x 18") with full rotation and high resolution image intensifier.

The machine's high power output (39 watts, 130 keV) assures clear viewing of high layer count boards and those with other unusual features such as embedded copper cores. By utilizing the CRX 2000's variable power output and image enhancement software, we can provide detailed analysis of assembled
products for failures such as solder ball defects, improper
die attach, cracked vias and component shorts.
